TNA needs a great showing this coming Thursday to continue to building its positive momentum. For the past four weeks Impact has been on the road performing to wild crowds. The shows have been solid maybe not great since the beat down of the TNA locker room by Aces and Eights a few weeks bad, but pretty good.
The line up and hype for the show seem exciting with both the Tag Team and World Heavyweight Championship on the line, plus the fallout with Aj Styles and Aces and Eights. TNA needs to focus on this plus the X Division and not waste time with the likes of Robbie E or Joey Ryan (1).
It is the perfect situation, they will be live, there isn’t a big sporting event tonight, and the last season of the Office has been downright awful (2). Hogan and Company need to take advantage of this before the fall even more behind the WWE.
Jeff Hardy gets his well deserved rematch against Bully Ray for the World Title and I can’t wait to see what Aces and Eights have up their sleeves. Will this be the moment that Brooke Hogan turns? Or maybe Mr. Styles will show his true colors?
The Dirty Heels defend their gold against Chavo and Hernandez in what promises to be a good match. All four are talented wrestlers that should have the crowd wild throughout their bout.
The main reason I am intrigued is because of the drama between Hogan, Aj and Aces and Eights. This seems so similar to when Sting was debating whether or not he was going to join the NWO back in the 90s. Will TNA go in that direction or will the Phenomenal One join the faction that is taking over the company.
On the heels of Wrestlemania and a wild Monday Night Raw(3), Impact Wrestling needs a great show to keep the positive momentum that they have moving forward. I expect big things tonight and hopefully they will not disappoint.
Until next time I will see you when I see you! @carljfred
(1) Sorry I ran his praise last week, but they shouldn’t be waisting the viewers time with him
(2) Not even sure if they a new episode on tonight
(3) Never have I seen a crowd constantly cheer for all the heels, downright wild
