Making An Impact! takes a look at the TNA talent(s) who made the most out of their time on Thursday Impact Wrestling. Off of the heels of this past Thursday’s broadcast, Mr. Anderson is the one who made an impression and a future direction of the Aces.
Mr. Anderson took the reigns on this past Thursday’s Impact Wrestling. As Bully Ray prepared for the contract signing with Sting at the end of the evening, Anderson lead the way for the Aces.
Since joining the Aces, Anderson has quietly shifted positions from just another member to a voice within the group and is now making his presence felt. He, not Devon (the second in command?), was the one who stopped Bully from bashing D’Lo’s head in a few weeks ago. It was also Anderson that D’Lo confided in during this past Impact broadcast, not Bully or Devon. Anderson lead the attack on Team TNA members and continued to influence the Aces throughout the night. Not too many matches under Anderson’s belt lately, but taking a step up in the Aces ladder could lead to some interesting revelations.
An interesting aspect is, obviously, the leadership roles within the group. If Mr. Anderson is attempting to assert himself as a leader or the leader, how does Devon and Bully Ray take this?
In the case of Devon, there could be jealousy if Anderson continues to take the leadership role and Bully warms up to him further. A split may be in order in the event this comes to fruition. Those on Devon’s side and those on Anderson’s side with Bully Ray in the middle losing his grip.
In the case of Bully Ray, he may be the one turning green and challenge Anderson’s direction of the Aces. Paranoia towards Anderson looking to knock Bully off as leader and as world champion can be an interesting twist to the Aces & 8′s saga.
WHAT TO DO
- Give Anderson more screen time and eventually have him override some of the decisions made by Devon or even Bully Ray.
- Give Anderson a core crew that follows his lead and use that to stir the pot.
- More matches. Anderson needs this time to really take advantage of the situation in the ring. Show he is better than some of the members and build him up further. New TV champion?
Sound off below on your thoughts of Mr. Anderson making the most impact on Impact Wrestling and the ramifications if he were to begin his own mission to become leader of the Aces & 8′s.
