    No. He is not…

Right. You don't have to have size to be the champion. But he just doesn't seem like Heavyweight Chamiponship material. Totally agree with you on Vince's crap view on the big guys being champ- Henry, Big Show, Khali. No wrestling skill. Like giving Nash the belt. I'd much rather have Lance Hoyt have the belt, if we'd have to have a big guy with the belt. But I would much rather have Kenny King or Austin Aries or even AJ Styles be champion than Sabin. That would be best. It's not the size. It's just not getting into the underdog story of Chris Sabin of how he re-injures his leg every match. Is it healed after two years or not? Will it ever be better? If he does great like he used to in '06 or even before he got injured, and does what he used to always do, instead of hurting your leg every match, then it would be better. Agree with your point on themed shows. RAW Roulette was great. So was the first few times they did Gut Check and Open Fight Night. Just imagine if at Hardcore Justice, they somehow had Jeff Hardy and Chris Sabin vs Team 3D in a TLC match. That would be amazing. The first One Night Stand, i believe it was 2005, was the best. It truly felt like an ECW show and like it wasn't controlled by WWE or had anything to do with WWE. The crowd was nuts! I would love to imagine TNA with Paul Heyman. I think it would be better- just because I've seen what Bischoff and Hogan have done… and have actually at times loved the product but the rating has stayed the same and I do believe that the tag team and knockout divisions have gone away. Not to mention X-Division with its gimmicks. Just imagine what Heyman could do with Abyss and Samoa Joe. "But creative isn't going to run the company." Creative has built the company… it was creative who built the whole Attitude Era and the nWo and all of WCW that we love. Creative had to write that and think it up for it to air on TV. Creative is huge. Just think of how much TNA has changed since Bischoff and Hogan came… not because of them being on TV, but how the show is different from in '13 or '11 compared to '09. The difference is huge… and that is because of creative. Creative means EVERYTHING in the wrestling business because the wrestling business is all about story telling.

Thanks for listening and giving your thoughts on the subjects I discussed. I want to respond to you on the one sentence you quote me on. I actually said, "… but creative isn't going to GROW the company." Now, I see your point on the whole creative side in the Attitude Era, but it was the competition that grew the company. Wrestling shows can have the best story lines and best characters, but, at the end of the day, that isn't going to increase the audience. Advertising and marketing… getting the name out there makes the company bigger. I've seen some amazing story telling and shows this past year, but the ratings don't show for it.

  • wrestlingscoops2323

hogan has not done much for tna at all and the rating are at where they were when they debut on spike tv and not going up like they should be

That's what i meant to say when i quoted you. How do you suggest TNA gets better at advertising and marketing? I'm really asking because it seems like they have done many things that many people thought would work… bring in big names, go on the road, go live, go on Monday night. It just hasn't panned out and sometimes they've had lower ratings than before the EB and HH era. In my view, the only way to get TNA better is to get off SpikeTV. No one watches Spike. And like i've said before, a friend came over before with another friend of his. We went and played basketball. When coming back to the house, TNA was on since I was recording two shows and it was one of them. The other friend, Colton, said "Whoa WWE" and started watching it. I didn't mind correcting him… it's what almost anyone would say when seeing TNA.
